"MPs organising the campaign to impeach Tony Blair believe they have enough support to force a highly damaging Commons investigation into the Prime Minister's pre-war conduct."

Assuming our media's recent bout of adult onset testicular regeneration has taken hold, this might be the ultimate in bad news for Dubya.

Mr. Blair is not the only Bush friend in jeopardy. Apparently, Signor Berlusconi may lose his election next week:

"Signor Prodi, who was Prime Minister from 1996 to 1998, appears likely to oust the centre-right coalition led by Silvio Berlusconi in April. Polls suggest that voters are disllusioned with Signor Berlusconi’s handling of the economy and with Italy’s role in Iraq."
