We have many of the Dalai Lama's books- I notice my husband must particularly like The Way To Freedom, The Gelug/Kagyu Tradition of Mahamudra, and Transforming Mind, because those are on the "read again" shelf. Pema Chodron was recommended to me (and I can't remember by whom), I also have When Things Fall Apart and The Wisdom of No Escape. It's been a while since I read them, but I remember I was glad I read them. Now that you've reminded me of them, I think I will reread.
