tejek would have drooled with excitement if he got to starve and dehydrate Terri Schiavo to death himself.

If you were a resident of Fla. you would likely have a higher opinion of Jeb. He has done A LOT for our economy, all through the recession Fla. never suffered and even today has among the highest employment figures. As to Terry, that was what was perceived the people of THIS STATE wanted him to do. Fla is far more conservative then many of the Western States. jdn

tejek,

>>His behavior during the Schiavo mess was hardly gubernatorial IMO.<<

Evidently, you are not around the state of Florida, and you don't know what you are talking about. Jeb Bush had no real power to do anything about the Schiavo thing, and did what he could to keep her alive, but in the final accounting, there was no hope.

Otherwise, Florida is one of the best states to live in. State taxes are not high, there is no state income tax, sales taxes are not unbearable, and the roads are being maintained very well. The only problem with Florida, is the humid, hot, summer days, and having the longest coast line of any state in the union, which invites a hurricane or two. Or three, or four, or five. :^)
