can't agree with you on that one. There are many cases of former smoker getting lung cancer up to 25 years after quitting smoking - Many more cases of emphysema, COPD, and heart disease developing years later.

What does this have to do with addiction? You can get lung cancer years after breathing the smoke of a forest fire, but you sure as hell are not addicted to forest fires!

I've read several articles where researchers are beginning to think of nicotine as a cancer switch, once it's turned on there's no turning it off.......
