You are comparing apples and oranges. The real question is whether there were good business reasons to raise the price to $3 bucks a gallon or did they do it just because the could stick it to people? And I'd like to know how all the companies just kept raising the price. With 45 million an hour in profits competition should have kicked in and brought the price down. Sounds like collusion to me.

Microsoft didn't raise the price of their software after the hurricane. And it's not a 50 cent CD. The CD may have cost 50 cents, but the software on it cost much more than that. You are a true moron who doesn't understand business.
