I have quit smoking several time, I don't think it is very hard, nor do I miss it that much. Problem is that my wife smokes and does not intend to quit, so I eventually start smoking without even thinking about it.

Quitting is not easy. I tried repeatedly. I have not smoked for over a decade. Actually I have not had a single cigarette for about three years, the last one was much less enjoyable than I remembered. If you have incentive to quit, you will do it.
