Actually, the issue was a sign on downtown bldgs that he suggested be changed from "Merry Christmas" to "Happy Holiday". rockymountainnews.com To be fare, I've only been here 11 years, we don't have a Christmas Parade. Not sure we ever did. This parade as far as I know has always been the "Parade of Lights". denverparadeoflights.com
