now you are indeed into nuances... In the true meaning of the word.

Well aren't we all? I don't see why appreciation for nuances seems to be such an insult on this thread.

thefreedictionary.com

1. A subtle or slight degree of difference, as in meaning, feeling, or tone; a gradation.
2. Expression or appreciation of subtle shades of meaning, feeling, or tone: a rich artistic performance, full of nuance.

I would have absolutely nothing against granting gay couples same legal protection as married couples as long as "marriage" remains reserved for the liaison between man and woman the traditional way.

So just let them call their unions a garriage, and be done with it. I don't see what the big deal is if its just about the definition of the word 'marriage'.

Supporters of gay marriage want the government benefits of being married but Christmas can't have the government benefits of being a holiday.

Another ignorant "nuance".
