IMO the severity of cigarette addiction has more to do with the length of time someone smokes. The longer you smoke the more receptors you develop in your brain and the more you crave. I was about a pack a day smoker for over 30 years before I quit. I can't remember if it was 3 or 4 smoking cessation classes I went through while I was in the Navy but it was the hardest thing I ever did. There are things that trigger cravings as you well know I'm sure. For me there were 2 big ones, coffee, which I love and I still get cravings after eating meal.......
