Geoff, This will be the last post about marijuana from me, but I must disagree with you about the effects of pot, as related to those of cigarettes. Haqi, there's nothing wrong with respectfully disagreeing and I completely respect your right to do so. Respect is the key word and I know that is one thing we can both agree on. On several occasions, I have seen normally nice people go berserk after smoking weed. In one case, a talented musician, with a mellow life style normally, nearly beat his wife to death before anyone could figure out what he was doing in the back room. When the effect wore off, he could not remember why he did it. These I have seen with my own eyes, so don't try to bull sh** me. In all my previous (youthful) periods of indulgence I have yet to see any violent actions where pot use was the only factor. I grant you that there might be exceptions just as some peoples demeanor changes radically when they drink. Haqi, I was hoping that you'd have a better sense of who I am at this point, I've liked your postings for the most part and respect your opinions.....I'm not the type of person to just make things up in order to further an argument. Your zeal about making pot legal, indicates to me, that you are heavy in the habit, and want some verification. Not at all, you couldn't be more wrong. I rarely smoke pot or drink anymore but I still enjoy both. I'm also not trying to promote anyone into using drugs of any kind. Also, I'm way past the age where I seek verification for my lifestyle.
