Human nature for sure....fortunately there are quite a few to pick from, so if you don't wanna buy one, you can always buy another that's pretty similar. SA's, or NA majors, or small caps, or silvers. In the intermediate to long term, they're all going higher.....when the clownbuck rolls over the next time (ie, when the Fed decides they're done raising) we'll see an explosion in the dirts that will be the stuff legend is made of, IMO....
