You fail to understand that if a contract is made on the basis of lies and misinformation, then there's fraud and the contract is null and void. That authorization on the basis of the intel that Chimp and BiggusDickus was supplying to Congress etc.. That intel was massaged and filtered... The sources of the intel were highly suspect too. That "authorization" is worth NOTHING.

Chimp also went to the UNNSC for authorization of the invasion. He needed it, otherwise he wouldn't have gone. He didn't get it. This makes the invasion illegal under international law. Kofi Anan has stated so publicly. Chimp and his goons tried to implicate Anan in the Oil for Food scam as retribution and to basicly shut him up. Chimp is a war criminal, period. Face it.

Kerry was right about Iraq. Giving a president the potential power as a last resort is not the same as giving him permission to go right ahead. There was a third choice, the smarter more careful one. Bush promised to abide by that but broke his word.

Kerry's conditions for that vote were highly condition. Kerry's way was the only right way.

Bush promised the senate he would invade as a last resort and try to "keep the peace" but Bush lied.
