Mark Warner is very appealing...he is no less experienced at this point that GWB was as gov. of Texas in middle of his second term. Business likes Warner...Virginia would go for him, and so then might other parts of the South. He could be a true uniter of the demos since I feel there will soon building the same thing the republicans did in 2000...find a candidate we can live with and then get behind him hard. the left wing will come back home and the centrists woudl have a choice, finally.

Now, a Warner/Guliani face off would be something to see. But could Guiliani (pro-abortion, pro gun control) get out of the blocks in the republican primaries? How about Newt? He keeps threatening to run.

Well, Arnold is not eligible since he is not a native born American. Rice isn't a real politician and has never run for anything. She'll get killed on the campaign trail IMO. Same for Winfrey, although she's a Dem and would have an interesting face off with Hillary if she ran. Love to see that. There's George Allen and Mitt Romney in addition to McCain and Rudy on the republican side.

Personally, I don't see anything stopping Hillary, short of getting very lucky.

Warner is very lucky to have escaped with the Governorship. It is unlikely that he would win Virginia for President. The people of Virginia elected him based on his campaign for local issues versus his Republican challenger who appeared to be running for President or Senate.

Hillary is a socialist, she has been giving sound bites that make her sound conservative for the last two years. Fools will be fooled. She seems to have mitigated her negatives. not that long ago she was the Democrats #1 money raiser and held the same honor for the Republicans. She does not seem to inspire the same level of contributions against her that she used to.

Kerry still has a substantial war chest.

I heard on the radio that Rice was polling better than the others. She is not married, which should hurt her. The peace deal she brokered in the Middle East has me very concerned about her strategic ability. The deal is the beginning of the end for Israel.

Arnold is not eligible to be President. We are not going to pass a draft Arnold Amendment. He is out.

Mitt Romney and Rudi would bust the Reagan coalition. Any other ideas?
