Some people are really getting in to the "the dems were wrong TOO" groove. When my kids try that (but HE did it too...), about the naughty things they do, I don't let them off. I think I feel the same way about the "kids" who govern our country. If you blow it, you blow it- no matter who goes down with you. An apt, but kind parallel. What is special about thaat specific line is that you have conservatives list a group of people that they've called morons all their political lives, followed by ~Bush is no smarter than those morons. I really chuckle when they refer to the French. But there are other lines of attack on the list. I wonder if Brumar is going to call me on it or just drift off into the ether and not take the chance. jttmab

Every Senator and Congressman assumes that the President of the United States has MUCH superior sources of intelligence than they do, and they're right to think so. When a single Senator or Congressman starts beating the war drums, he's regarded as a kook. When the President of the United States does it, it's just ASSUMED he's doing it with damn good cause! The chimp even spent Colin Powell's credibility to sell the war to the UN and the country, and NOW Powell KNOWS it! I can't think of a more blantant misuse of office in my lifetime. It's just below being an outright traitor. The chimp conned the country into war.
