I don't bowl in summer leagues any longer. But when I go back in September, I can sure feel it the first few weeks. Does keep the muscles in my legs from getting atrophied. And keeps my arms from getting flabby. I really don't like to exercise that much, so it helps me retain muscle I would otherwise lose, mostly from sitting at my computer. I am pretty lazy in the exercise dept.

I used to work in my yard a lot, but even that I no longer do. The mosquitoes eat me alive now and if there is one a mile away, it will find me and put big whelps on my skin. I use the Avon Skin so Soft when outside too, which my niece gave me and insisted I wear it outside, but it doesn't chase them away for me. Off doesn't either.

My yard shows the lack of love and attention, I think, even though we now have a yard service to take care of the beds, planting, grass and trees. I love to see gardens that are maintained by their owners and there is a remarkable difference in their beauty to me. I have African Violets in my kitchen windows and breakfast room windows and I grow them well. I water them with tepid tea from the top and I heard that on a garden program when a woman called in to tell about an very old Indian woman's method of getting them to bloom all year long. I tried it and has worked well for me.
