Well, we'll just have to wait and see. First there will be lawyers having discussions and negotiations. Then there will be the courthouse steps. Then Nokia and the Hagfish Guild will do as Ericsson did on the courthouse steps in 1999. And QUALCOMM will be paid.

I don't think King George II will take kindly to having his cash flow cut down. Like any addict, they can get quite bolshy when the supply is cut. Having a world-record military system at his disposal, with revved up young blokes just itching to put their training into practise, he might just be able to have his way. Having a world-record economy secure behind the military wall would help too.

For example, any country which doesn't pay the going rate might find seriously large import duties charged on things they want to sell in the USA. They might even find a blockade.
