Too bad about all those innocent civilians. But hey...there weren't any WMD for the Saddam to keep the inspectors from finding...so there was no urgent need to invade after all. Oh well...at least we're bringing demockrazy to the Iraqi people...at least the ones that survived the Shock and Awe.

Wrong. UN Inspectors had free rein in Iraq. There were almost no restrictions put on them. They were methodically doing their job and Bush forced them to stop because he as so eager to invade, even though he had no plan what to do once he'd invaded.
