Go Calahan! Go! You're da man! Surprise packet Brasil 1 is leading the Volvo Ocean Race under the watchful eye of its Australian navigator and the only female in the race, Adrienne Cahalan.

Brasil 1 leads ocean race.

Australian navigator Adrienne Cahalan has helped Brazilian yacht Brasil 1 to the lead in the Volvo Ocean Race.

The only female in the race, Cahalan guided Brasil 1 through through 50 knot winds and huge swells that rocked the fleet on the first night out from Vigo, Spain.

And on day three of the first leg to Cape Town, Brasil 1 led narrowly from Dutch yacht ABN AMRO 1.

MQ we're coming to that sport Kiwis are the masters:
Perhas we should launch a challenge in the America's Cup.
