I take your point but I stand by mine - however you package the rhetorical trick that &^t happens, oops, just deal with it, the hypocrisy is evident to the casual observer who is supposed to look up to America. Convoluted, oblique appeals to vice and virtue don't work out side the rarified worlds of western philosophical debate. The rest of the planet looks at what we say and what we do, or allow to happen, and decides if we are full off &^t or not. It's a simple binary function.
