The parallel has to do with the legal ramifications of the action.

You want to make it legal to kill someone without consequence. That's not the way you would phrase it but that's the way I see it.

I can see where killing someone might be necessary but won't give permission before the fact. Let them ask forgiveness after the fact, and let's look at the totality of the circumstances. If the witnesses won't testify, or the prosecutor won't prosecute, or the jury won't convict, well and good.
