The Left Cooks Up a Conspiracy in Ohio
by Robert B. Bluey HUMAN EVENTS Nov 14, 2005

Brad Friedman, a anti-Bush fanatic who writes for the Huffington Post, says Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell might be responsible for four of the five losing ballot initiatives in Ohio last Tuesday. All four were backed by liberals, and each one lost handily. Friedman argues that polling showed the referenda were supposed to pass, and therefore, when they didn't, Blackwell must have rigged the voting machines.

This demonstrates just how worried the left must be about Blackwell, a black Republican who is seeking the governor's office next year. Blackwell currently leads his two opponents in the GOP primary and matches up well against the Democrats in the race.

You may recall that earlier this year, DNC Chairman Howard Dean pulled a similar stunt. Blackwell wrote exclusively for Human Events why Dean was just plain wrong. When will these loony liberals learn?
