And then, sometimes, MMM will reverse and drop a buck in a handful of minutes....

Interesting the aggressiveness of moves in all directions lately. Like YHOO today -- break out and run -- or HAL every day (Hey, time to move 2 bucks in a different direction!) there are some strong moves ou there. Maybe it's just the subset I'm watching, of course.

SPX seems to be coiling up in the wiggles here. NDX, too, actually. Maybe in general we're frozen til AMAT in AH?

AMSC........Thought I had posted ??........but bailed AMSC sometime back.....Whole AltEner has had quite a pullback (with the oils)..Only thing I'm left with is CPST..as I posted just yesterday....

However....agree....... worth watching.....

AMSC.... Interesting... Lots of Fibo relationships between parts of that large (imo) double zigzag since Jan '94.... which retraced ~70% of the rally from 2002. Last down impulse may have ended yesterday. Pretty cool... may be OK to nibble.

edit - there is also a certain wedge-like feel to the entire correction.
