I've been pretty skeptical since Vietnam, but I never believed that Iraqi WMD's (IF they really had them!) could be a threat to the US. I don't see how anyone was really convinced. It was a fearmongered, phony mania blasted out by the chimpistration, while calling doubters unpatriotic traitors.

Some of the hilights of the phoniness were the constant talk of Iraqi nukes and missles, while leaving out that they didn't have the range to hit the Atlantic Ocean and if they actually had ANY nukes, they could probably just deliver them in tractor-trailers! I also remember the phony "Iraqi remotely piloted aircraft" that were going to spread anthrax from the air! To anyone with a brain paying attention, it was just war drum fearmongering. The Dems and Repugnicans who went along should all resign.
