.09 cents on the dollar, look at what other companies make, MCDs .22 on the dollar, heck the gov. makes .56 per gallon on gas.

Wrong. What you are avoiding is that the oil company's profit on a percentage basis is not at all extraordinary. Did they make a huge profit. Yes they did. Was it on huge sales, yes it was. Was there gouging after Katrina, most believe so.

You are out of control.
