...and "Liberalism/European Socialism" and Communism are opposite things while the fact is that the European socialist parties are the 1956 off-spring of the European Communist parties because those "progressive" Commies had a slight problem with the Soviet invasion of Hungary only.

Incidentally same "progressive" Socialists had no such problem 12 years later with the invasion of Czekoslovakia.

Communists, "modern communists" (what the heck is that?), socialists and "modern" liberals all share the same core ideology.

While it may be true that Stalin, Mao and Castro added their own "flavors" to same core ideology whereas our "modern" liberals added their own "progressive" attributes, the essential core ideology is and remains all the same.
