But Saddam was of no threat. Not even an intermediate threat...and years and years away from the potential of becoming an immediate threat.

North Korea is more of a threat today than Saddam could have been 3 or 5 years after the fact.

Look, Both Powell and Condi stated that Saddam was no threat and was contained prior to 9-11. Why would they suddenly change their tune post 9-11? Rummy was drawing up war plans with Iraq in the week after 9-11. Bush issued a secret order to prepare war plans with Iraq.

The purpose of the invasion was to take over Iraq. It never was about Al Qaeda or WMD...not a chance of it.
