BTW I was extremely impressed by their products.

"Back in the day" JC Penny was THE place for men's underwear. I never bought it anywhere else. I recently picked up a package of Wal Mart's brand of jockeys, 7 for $6.94. I don't remember Penny being that cheap even 20 years ago. Excellent quality.

i don't see a problem with any corporation instructing its people in retail business to express happy holidays vs merry christmas. you are wishing every one a happy holiday and not offending those who do not believe in christmas or celebrate a different holiday.

imo it is being sensitive to your customers , trying not to offend one and yet wish them a happy and safe holiday.

if in business i wouldn't want to chase my customers over to competition because of doing something offensive... i guess they could just not wish any one happy holidays too. but we would want customers to think the company cares. g
