I listened to the CFC presentation at the GS conf.

It is interesting that all the tough questions are still related to IO or Option Payments. I did not remember any questions about reset.

What I find most laughable about the CDS is the availability of a counter party. Are they assuming that there will always be a sucker somewhere to take the risk off the hands of the mortgage originators, regardless of how unsound their underwriting may be?
