Sipping wine, having a couple of beers, and nursing a Dewars on the rocks are all acts of moderation. Moderation is the cornerstone of alcohol consumption. In the US, there are more than 150 million adult alcohol drinkers, 90% of whom drink in moderation.

There is no moderation with drugs. You are either high or you're not.
