GLBL just said on their call that there are not enough assets in the GOM to get all the work done. Everything moving to better margin day rates for the suppliers for Q4 and ahead.

aerosappy: Different take by Todd (CWEI 140472) regarding "GOM recovery around the corner, etc., etc."

"The one piece of info that I imparted to him was that I heard from a trusted source that BP and XOM were cutting their GOM exploration CAPEX by 25% next year and were not in a position to devulge this to the media for obvious reasons. Also told him that a WAG of 1 B will be plugged in the GOM forever as ROI is negative when compared to what can be recovered from older reservoirs. His response was "That means $18 NG this winter."

My bets have been long on NG for quite a while, with CHK being my largest holding.

Good trading.
