You make an excellent point about the GOP (not the name calling!). I remember when the GOP embraced the social conservatives - they brought money and organization to a party that was struggling. Now the social conservatives dominate the GOP. So where does that leave the Eisenhower/Rockefeller and even Reagan Republicans? George Will is concerned. Reagan economist Bruce Bartlett just wrote a new book: "How George W.
