And this is what makes their argument so disingenuous. I think democrats are so obsessive about the Bush lied theme because they just can't stand that their own beloved icon of a president was proven to be fallible, weak and dishonest. They can't let the fact that it was their opposition that doggedly pursued those facts go and so must therefore take the same tact with GWB. They are furious, but more importantly bitter that they have been usurped. And they've proven that they have no shame or dignity in the process. The fact that massive amounts of WMDs were not found in Iraq was the perfect opening for the attack regardless that they all agreed they existed in the lead up to the war. M
