Our leaders from both parties decided it was three years ago and the voters validated the decision in the last Presidential election.

Is it really worth hundreds of billions of dollars to try to set up democracy in Iraq?

In a word...Yes. But those who don't want people everywhere to be free of tyrants, don't see it that way.

Compared to what other outcome, that is the question. Things don't stay the same if you don't act; something else happens. What do you think the something else would have looked like?
