He felt that he, and the Military had been ...and I quote: """Stabbed in the back by our own government representative""", and had set back the Military efforts and morale with these remarks!

Demos take this subject lightly.

If they keep up, they will find it backfiring. Every American should be working to keep our military strong. That includes high morale.

History is replete with examples of how deterioration of morale quickly creates a sharp drop in battlefield proficiency.

Murthas remarks, by a gentleman previously respected by most are IMHO unfathomable. I cannot see how any person, not to mention a person with his experience, could be so Naive. Could Senility be creeping in? Could the Democrapic Leadership gotten to him somehow? Anyone, with even the slightest intelligence would have to believe that if we were to summarily pull out now Iraq would collapse into chaos, the perfect situation for a terrorist takeover establishing a rich base for them to first destroy the Middle East and then the rest of the world. But, you can be sure, the Liberal press will ride on his comments and sweep the comments of the MULTITUDE of others such as those you mention on the radio show under the table. jdn
