Bush, Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz etc, rightfully called them WMDs because that is exactly what they were told SH had. Clinton, Kerry, Daschle, Kennedy, et al, called them WMDs for the exact same reason. EDIT My contacts were convinced the chemical and bio weapons existed and still do believe that. There was some doubt about the nuclear actually existing but no doubt about Saddam's desire and attempts to obtain same.

but what you fail to mention is that WMDs are exactly how SHs weaponry was described to Bush I didn't "fail" to mention anything. There is no utility in my mentioning any of that. You and the rest of this thread are already very familiar with it and I have no new insights to offer you in that arena. What I offered to you was information and insight that was new to you and from which I thought you might benefit. You see, I have this silly notion that it is valuable to try to look at things from different angles. <g>
