Nixon was a criminal. He was impeached by the judiciary committee and the articles of impeachment were approved. The full house was set to vote in the affirmative for impeachment...and the creep resigns. This does not absolve him of high crimes and misdemeanors, of which he would have been tried for in an impeachment trial had he not resigned...hence he was impeached, which also means called into question for crimes.

In every sense of the word impeach, Nixon fits the bill. And if you want to say that he was not impeached by the full house then at least say because he was a chicken shit that resigned, because he obviously was guilty. Then I don't mind you being technical, so long as the entire story is told.
