<Are the ten or twelve Democrat house and senator members, clinton and mrs. clinton and their former staffers and cabinet types discredited because they made speeches about hussein's WMDS, voted to authorize the USA to go to war and provided the funding for the war discredited? Or do they get a free ride?> They didn't have control of the information. They took what they were given by Colin Powell at the UN [giggle] and King George II's "intelligence". Plus they were playing to the prevailing political desire for somebody to pay, even if they obviously had nothing to do with the box-cutter attack on the Twin Towers, Pentagon etc. People in SI thought there were WMDs too, but they depended on other's telling them there were. I didn't think there were as I've heard too many government lies and stupidity over the decades and it seemed to me that there were unlikely to be any significant WMDs after the decade of harassment by the inspectors and USA spies operating under cover of the UN inspectorate.
