Maybe the ME Muslim population exhibits a BIG difference between what the do or rather don't do and what they are dreaming and wishing about being doing. The ridiculous thing about Mindmeld's assertion that most ME Muslims celebrated 9/11 is that prior to 9/11, many of them dreamed of coming to live and work in the US to make a better life for themselves, a pretty common sentiment among impoverished 3rd worlders. Another common refrain I heard from Muslims immediately following 9/11 was that it could not have been done by Muslims because they aren't advanced or sophisticated enough. Seriously.
