Our son is living in Japan working for Livedoor. We have invested in QUALCOMM which has activities and sales around the world. I'm a director of Globalstar Australia which is owned in part by an American. We have a daughter in London and another going to Melbourne. We have American relatives [nephew, sister, cousin etc]. My mother born in China. Grandmother born in France. Grandfathers in England. Friends in various countries. So I have trouble with nationalistic fervour. Of course we need local political action to manage our town. Our city. Our country. Our shareholdings. We also need political action to manage our world. We are all sharing the oceans, rivers, spectrum, air, skies. The commons need management and not by dog eat dog action, though unfortunately, that's still part of the scene. My income is from people around the world buying CDMA gadgets. I'm keen for people in China and India to be able to buy them and spend a lot of money on really good ones. So I need them to be earning high incomes. People in NZ are dependent for their income on me selling CDMA devices around the world. It is one world. It's pretty obvious if one takes a look at the place from a million kilometres away. Mqurice
