Yup, Iranian supported, Zarqawi terrorists blew up those two Shia mosques today with white phosphorous bombs supplied by Iran but unfortunately I cannot go into any details. I can tell you however, I did get the information from Pearle who got it from Conrad Black.

There are different levels of support. I'm CERTAINLY NOT saying that Iran is the primary supporter of Al Qai'da in Iraq.

HOWEVER, they SURE AS HELL seem to tolerate a lot of Al Qai'da leadership using their country as a safe haven and sanctuary..

As for blowing up Shi'as.. The Iranians power meisters are very Machiavellian. They might be Shi'a but

1.) they are ARAB SHI'A and Iranians Ayatollahs are primarily Persian....

2.) They primarily support Al Sistani who is opposed to the form of Islamic State that the hardlines in Tehran and Qom desire.

3.) The Iranian intelligence and political leadership desire to see the Shia community frightened into "accepting" an Iranian offer of "protection" from the "big, bad, Sunnis", and thus increasing Iraq's alignment into the sphere of Iranian influence in the region.. (It what I would do, were I them.. VERY Secretly, of course, and through various "cut-outs" so I could deny all.).. So IMO, sometimes they don't mind that Shia mosques are blown, so long as it advances their influence in the area and prevent the Shia Arab goverment leaders from becoming a rival Shia state..

Think out of the box a little bit.. Or at least on a Machiavellian level (which these M-E leaders do VERY well.. ;0)
