Isn't that the truth..

Back in the good ole days. I played the IPOS a lot. I had an account at a small branch of a major broker and I was the only one asking for them in the office. It was in a smallish city with lots of investment type accounts.. And they didn't care if I flipped, in fact my broker encouraged it as long as I had enough trades in other stuff.

I remember I would ask for 1000's of shares and maybe get a 100.. When Corvis came out. I got 600 and worried all night what's wrong with it. it opened 40-50 points above the offering. I couldn't freakin believe it. Best flip ever and I left a lot on the table.. :)

Then it died down and I quit asking a couple of years ago. I still have the account and maybe should try it again.. That probably means the top of the IPO market. :)
