So the Democrat party picked former marine Murtha to throw under the bus in the hopes of getting some of his blood sticking to it?

Murtha is very tight with the top generals. But top generals cannot speak frankly. They are under orders not to comment on policy. They cannot criticize the commanders in chief Bush and Cheney. So they had Murtha do it for them. When Murtha speaks, he speaks for the majority of the military. We saw last month a poll from North Carolina of active servicemen. They disagreed with Bush's handling of the war by 5-4. We now see Bush with a 53% disapprovcal rating in Texas. Clearly, even those who Bushies thought were in their corner have fled to the other side. You will be one of the last ones out. And don't let it hit you on the way out.
