This post by Don really got me to thinking about what I am doing. "CB, I think you are doing a pretty good IR job all by yourself! ;-)" Don's right, somehow I have just assumed the role of the IR guy for Vision Works Media Group(where's my 100k...jk). I would do the job for free, but Mark has got to give me more to work with...I want to make sure that i'm not encouraging my fellow investors to put money in a manager that does not have the vision to see what a perfect position he is now in(2 dangling preps. in a row!). I'm not sure he realizes it, despite our best efforts. If he would just implement some the things you have suggested, and make darn sure there is no dilution...this stock would run to a very nice level above .05...then the company could sell 100 mil shares, put 5 mil in the bank. and focus on the business plan instead of having to stop and write PR's all the time....not to mention that they would start getting Christmas cards for investors instead of insults....we would then begin to chant over and over "The curse is dead! , the curse is dead! , the curse..." Anyway, I just wanted to make sure that he knew this company is primed for a run up the ladder if MANAGEMENT WOULD DO THEIR PART. If there was no dilution, this would be a great investment on assets alone....i'm sure we have millions in assets between Channel 29, broadcast equipment, and movie rights. If I had a chance to sit down with management, perhaps we could get a target to shoot for that would be a win/win for all parties concerned. I mean, let's face it...we may get a deal with DirecTv tomorrow that makes the whole point moot....but then again....we may not...if we have to wait for OEN to develop and mature then our timeline is back to day 1....in other words, we may have another 2 year wait....and if we do, wouldn't management rather pull a HISC and sell ONE TIME 100 mil shares and then live off the 5 mil in the bank?!? Do I sound cranky? Here's why: Per TA O/S 2,684,540,078 A 120 mil dilution for a measly 36k...what a waste...yeah, I know they have to pay for the trip to New York and to wine and dine the big wigs, and they also have the monthly burn rate. But, being honest, I found out about the new o/s at about 10 am today. I wanted to speak to mark but could not. I haven't sold one share, but I am going to talk to him one more time and make sure he knows it the curse doesn't have to happen again. I can say this...I'm going to hang in there a little longer until I speak to him again...then, I'll let you guys know what he says. If he isn't willing to come our way i'm going to sell 2/3 of my position...and resign as IR guy for VWKM. Sorry for the news...that reminds me of something... Neo: What do you mean, without him? The Oracle: Are you sure you want to hear this? Morpheus believes in you, Neo. And no one, not you, not even me can convince him otherwise. He believes it so blindly that he's going to sacrifice his life to save yours. Neo: What? The Oracle: You're going to have to make a choice. In the one hand you'll have Morpheus' life and in the other hand you'll have your own. One of you is going to die. Which one will be up to you. I'm sorry, kiddo, I really am. You have a good soul, and I hate giving good people bad news. GodBless-NoDoubt cris
