"That's like comparing a chicken to an eagle. I'm sure you know which party is which." We know that the Democrats hate anything having to do with President Bush. I suspect that they are really upset over a few things. Different DemoLibs are upset over different things. The first thing he did to upset them was thwart Gore's attempt to steal the election of 2000. DemoLibs had the full court press on, and were willing to do anything to steal that one. After 9/11 President Bush got the vote on Iraq in the Senate scheduled for before the 2002 election which forced the chicken hawks to either pretend to be hawks or show yellow and be voted out. Some will never forgive him for that. The fact that he is honorable upsets those who sold their soles to the devil to "save" Clinton. Some are upset because Clinton was waiting for his legacy, and never found it, but President Bush went and forged a legacy of liberating oppressed people. "Leaders lead despite the risk. Critics criticize regardless of the cost to themselves." That's a good way for one to get egg on his face. I would rather have egg on my face than track on my back. Wouldn't you rather be able to say you did something than be roadkill? "Both of the major parties are not doing the right things, but considering what they basically stand for, I must vote Republican." They both stand for PORK! I am thinking of voting Libertarian. In reality, in a close election I would still vote Republican, because the corruption of the Democrat party is intolerable. "I like your easy going way of posting because it reminds me that it can be done. I have had little success with keeping my cool in a heated debate." The person who you allow to get you upset controls you. I have not always been able to control my posts. In the last year, I have deleted many posts. I stopped a couple tonight when I asked myself how the post could possibly benefit me. Don't get me wrong there are some people who deserve to be insulted. A member has to post lies or foolish statements for a long time for that to be true. "Being disgusted with politics doesn't mean that I don't have a good time verbally smashing heads of liberals, because they are so stupid, and do not know that liberalism is the first step of socialism, and communism. Neither of those has ever succeeded since time began." Good, I was beginning to worry we were losing you. Your energy and wisdom is welcome and needed. I would consider myself very fortunate to have as much wisdom as you do at any point in my life.
