Holy Cow! another blast from the past! All this excitement must have raised you from your hibernation.

The next 4-6 quarters should be very interesting.

I have heard from numerous people the comment, Look! gasoline at $2.25 is cheap.

I have a copy of "The Long Emergency" and dip into it now and then. It's a better book than I thought at first, although hundreds of pages of alarmist arguments do produce something of the effect an an air raid siren that cannot be turned off.

Nuclear reactors can produce all the energy we need if the waste disposal issue can be bulldozed over the environmentalists. I get impatient with arguments about worrying about preserving the health of people 100,000 years into the future, especially given what we know about geology and plate tectonics.
