If slavery is so good why isn't it still around today?

The stories of abuse are legendary and widespread. I am sure there are a few who treated them as well or better than they treated their cattle. My what a reassuring thought that is.

Sounds like the good ol' days. I suppose I never realized that blacks never had it so good as when they owned by another human being. Those upity bastards and jerks from the north - thinking being free would be better.

And its all the north's fault for the way blacks have historically been treated in the south. That one makes a lot of sense too.
