Almost bought a second home in the schweitzer area a few years ago, and have only skied the mt once. It was foggy and they had scant snow cover, so didn't come away with a real good feeling about the place. My pass from Stevens extends to schweitzer so will probably make it over a few times this year if they get more snow. A friend has a cabin on Lake Coeur d alene so I have a place to stay. I really loved skiing at Silver Mt. Try it out if you ever pass through. At this point it doesn't look good. A repeat of last year. We are going to take a week in late Feb and try some new areas in Mt. That is if they have the snow. Otherwise like you, we'll follow the snow elsewhere.
