When issues have a direct bearing on the lives of soldiers in the field, only cowards will not put their career on the line for what they believe. Or they really are not certain in the infallibility of their positions.

Is Murtha speaking about cowards or uncertain generals who agree with him.

I am not certain in the case of this kind of issue, if back channels is not the same as cowardice and treason.

I see murtha's current methods as cowardly.

There are corrupt individuals in all walks of life. Look for corrupt conduct and you can identify corrupt individuals.

Power struggles that put soldiers lives in danger need to be totally public.

if true we got a real power struggle still going on among our brass.

Forget the brass.

Somebody better start considering what this bs is doing to troop morale.

I cannot imagine how a rifle squad leader or combat company commander could begin to answer a soldier's questions about this crap.
