It was almost circus like at times.....especially when it was a dem's turn to speak. I wouldn't have had the patience to stand and speak without mentioning the cruelty of some remarks. If I'd followed Pelosi I think I would have unloaded on her big time, but those that did follow some with unbelievably idiotic or insensitive remarks focus on what I believe to be the gist of the argument. The security of our nation and our troops, and the necessity of finishing the job and the consequences if we didn't. Considering the emotional nature of the issue, it's a wonder there wasn't a good old fashioned brawl. BTW that former POW and distinguished congressman is Sam Johnson congress.org
