The TV ads in my hometown of FREMONT, CA is by TCI@Home. FREMONT is one of TCI's premier towns in that TCI test markets in a few towns and FREMONT is one of them. I know that ATT owns TCI, @Home and Excite. The ads indicate to me that Excite has been left out of the picture.

lorne, you are an idiotic a-hole. I deliberately did not want to insult your intelligence by replying to your email and figured that over time you would tax your intelligence to realize what I said. BUt you asked for it and here goes. The London bombers are educated folks with college degrees in engineering and science. A few of them excelled in their studies. The leaders in the four planes of 9/11 had advanced degrees. Mohammed Atta had an engineering degree not from some God forsaken college in Iraq but from the University of Hamburg. The doors of opportunity were wide open to them. But they chose another route which is terrorism. Many other immigrants have immigrated to Western democracies have, unlike them, have chosen very productive lifestyles. They have made millions here and continue to pay their taxes which go to make up for the mistakes your forefathers made. The taxes paying for crimes, unwanted pregnancies, inner city kids etc. These immigrants gladly tolerate all that, register as Democrats to share in the wealth etc. However we will not tolerate your stupidity to tell us to go back to where we came from. In summary, we will gladly do what it takes to correct the mistakes of the past but definitely we will not let you create a new one where you attempt to keep the flames of division alive by telling the immigrants to go back. These folks have made a deliberate choice of calling this country their home. And we force you to not be a a-hole and tell that to the immigrants. I hope you would learn from the mistakes of the French where they discriminated against their immigrants and kept that alive.

Bushie rightwingers revert to neo McCarthyism by threatening people who verbally attack or question Bush and his cronies and their policies, lies, error and thievery. McCarthyism means branding opponents of the ruling party as "traitors" and treating them as the old Soviet Union would have. This branding always includes wildly inaccurate and exaggerated name-calling, including "communist". This is absolutely un-American. Thomas Jefferson told us that dissent, honest debate, a strong free press, truth and public opinion are the real cornerstones of democracy and this country. Remember that.
